Sharon Giannini was born and raised in the city of Danbury, CT. on the border of New York State. She has had a passion for picture books ever since she was very young. Her love for the literary arts led her to earn a Bachelor's degree in English from Central Connecticut State University. She also holds an Associate's degree in Business Administration from BayPath University. After spending eight years in advertising, Sharon decided to stay home full time when her son was born. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, her two kids, and a Boston terrier named Scarlett. When Sharon is not writing, she loves spending time with her family. She also loves fitness, all types of music, cooking, enjoying the outdoors, and anything creative. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and binge watching the latest Netflix series. Sharon writes for children but loves to read psychological thrillers. Inspired by her own children, Sharon hopes her debut picture book encourages little readers to explore their own imaginations.
